Engaging, intelligent, fun. I'm happiest when I'm outdoors ~ walking, biking, exploring new places in my Go-Pod ~ or catching up with friends over a cuppa. But I also love a night of drama at the opera/theatre, or a lazy evening binge-watching box sets.
Originally from near London, I've lived in Yorkshire most of my life now. My work is hugely rewarding and involves lots of writing, editing, people & politics; I'd rather get involved in the narrative than bury my head in the sand.

I'd like to be with someone who shares my outlook on the world ... and they'd definitely be left leaning (Guardian rather than Telegraph!). I'm after a man who's educated and has a passion for life, who laughs easily, and who cares about what's going on around us ~ human rights, the environment, social justice and politics. I'm looking for that spark that comes when you meet a kindred spirit, and I'd love that to become a relationship that lasts the distance.
(PS. Sadly though I love dogs, I can't have one in my house long-term. I do however have a cat, who makes some people sneeze!)
