About him
I would hope that my friends would describe me mostly as someone who has a good sense of humour who can make people laugh with a (hopefully) funny joke or the odd impression.
I am an honest, caring and loving man. I would say that I am very romantic and I undoubtedly wear my heart on my sleeve. When I fall for someone, I go all in with it.
I believe that honesty and trust are absolutely vital for a strong and loving relationship. I consider myself to be honest and faithful and would hope to find someone who is equally trustworthy and faithful.
I am a huge movie fan and love going to the cinema and have a reasonable collection of DVDs and Blu-rays (and have more viewing options due to the various streaming services that I use) so am also happy watching any good films or TV series whilst cuddling up on the couch.
I would say that I can't stand football and don't really watch sport - so anyone who is passionate about footie would likely not be right for me (sorry!)...
As I have two daughters (who don't live with me) and because I am also a self-confessed geek, I have a fair collection of Funko Pop figures and Lego sets etc...
In my spare time, I draw cartoons (usually one frame "gag cartoons") of which sadly, very few have been published. I also have several children's storybook ideas that are in various stages of development, that I would love to finish and see published some day.
I also like quizzes, quiz shows and play video games (though never to the degree where anyone would be a PlayStation widow).
Although I consider myself to have been unlucky in love in the past, I still believe in soulmates and "The One", and still hope that that right person is still out there, waiting to be found.
About his ideal match
I am looking for someone who like me, is open, honest, loving and romantic. If I can find someone that is also something of a geek, who wouldn't mind my collection of Funko Pop figures and Lego sets etc strange, then I think that would be a nice bonus!
I would like to find someone who is trustworthy and enjoys walks out in nature (more like walls along the beach or riverside walks, rather than hikes up hills or mountains, as I like to keep things realistic as I'm no longer a "spring chicken"!).
It would be nice to find someone who loves films and likes going to the cinema as well as cuddling up on the couch to watch films or a good TV series. I like quizzes and quiz shows too so if I could find someone like minded in that department too, that would be nice.
I would say that if someone is not trustworthy, faithful, into football or is a smoker, these are things that would be deal breakers for me.
